Are you an Engineer looking for an employer with a family feel, but with big company support?

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer to join a highly respected organization supporting operations of high-output plant and equipment.

The Role

The site is a thriving, fast-paced production plant. Its operatives rely on their plant and machinery to be running at optimal performance levels. Downtime is costly. The successful applicant will join a high-performing team of multi-skilled engineers performing first-class predictive maintenance, ensuring reliable operation, and best-in-class reactive engineering, reducing downtime to a minimum.

Daily responsibilities encompass both Mechanical and Electrical work. However, we encourage engineers with a distinct bias to also apply.

About You

Potentially from a packaging, print, or similar high-level production background, you will be highly proactive with the ability to assess the working environment and prioritize between preventative, predictive, and reactive work whilst under the pressures of a busy plant.

The company values the input of its engineers. Your experience is valued, and your contribution to the engineering strategy will be welcome. You will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss problems and their solutions at all levels, internally and with suppliers.

Safety is paramount, and you will both value and be able to demonstrate safe working practices at all times.

Experience and Qualifications

If you would like to be considered for this varied and challenging Shift Engineer opportunity, you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience providing first-class engineering support in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.

An HNC qualification, or higher, is desirable, but we will be pleased to consider a minimum NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering field and time-served field experience.

What Next?

Click Apply and upload your CV, and one of our consultants will call you back to discuss your application.

Atomic Talent is an equal opportunities recruiter. We welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants and do not discriminate on age, race, disability, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
