Engineering Geologist
to join their team in
Glasgow . This is a
full-time, permanent
position. Ian Farmer Associates is a geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation company with offices throughout the UK. It is supported by a fully accredited UKAS laboratory, making RSK Group one of the UK's largest site investigation service providers. Due to continued growth and exciting new projects, Ian Farmer Associates needs an experienced Engineering Geologist to assist with a varied project workload. Details of the position are below: Responsibilities include:
Supervision of ground investigations, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews Trial pitting / Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7 Project Management of ground investigations Production of Phase 1 Desk Studies Assistance in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports Person Specification:
Ideally, you will have the following attributes: A geology / earth sciences degree Good time keeping Good communication skills Good Project Management skills A full UK driving licence Willing to travel and work away from home Be within a reasonable travelling distance of the office base, or be prepared to relocate CSCS Card & First Aid Training SSSTS Salary and benefits:
