Canine Partners , a registered charity that transforms the lives of people with physical disabilities by partnering them with assistance dogs. Their amazing dogs bring a greater independence and quality of life to their partners, offering security, companionship, and practical help with everyday household tasks. These life-changing dogs also provide psychological and social benefits including increased independence, confidence, social interaction, and self-esteem.

A new

Chief Executive Officer

(CEO) is sought to be responsible for leading Canine Partners, managing and implementing a long-term vision for the organisation, and working with the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees to oversee the execution of the Charity’s long-term strategic plan and annual operating budgets.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following: Experience of charity leadership, with a track record developing and executing strategic plans and achieving financial and operational objectives. Experience of working with people with disabilities. Proven results in the building and leading of effective teams. Experience of managing risk and governance.

We are seeking a dynamic, authentic communicator and creative thinker. Excellent leadership and management skills with an ability to inspire and motivate others will be essential.

Location:

Hybrid / home based with regular travel to the national training centre (Osgathorpe, Leicestershire), satellites and other charity related locations.

Charisma vetting interviews must be completed by close of play on Monday 10th February prior to shortlist submission on Tuesday 11th February.
