AA Euro Group are seeking a dynamic Project Manager (Civil or Electrical biased) to join our clients team delivering high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) substation projects. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability while maintaining excellent client relationships. This is a full time permanent position based in the London area. Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Leadership: Direct multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel, to achieve project objectives. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a strong safety culture. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues proactively. Quality Control: Monitor project progress against agreed standards and ensure deliverables meet client expectations and specifications. Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, approve expenditures, and track financial performance to ensure profitability. Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and challenges. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum 8 years experience in project management within the construction or M&E sector, ideally with a focus on substations or power infrastructure. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent knowledge of substation construction processes, contracts (e.g., NEC or FIDIC), and regulatory requirements. Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
