An excellent opportunity awaits an ambitious Associate to join a well-known UK firm in its highly ranked Construction team. The Construction team advises at every stage of the construction life cycle, from feasibility, planning, and design through to the procurement of the building project and successful completion. Experience required: Qualified in England and Wales or a Common Law jurisdiction. Between 1-3 years PQE working in a reputable construction practice. Experience advising on, drafting, and negotiating amendments to standard form building contracts such as JCT and NEC, including associated collateral warranties/third-party rights, performance bonds, and parent company guarantees. Ability to provide practical, clear advice. Excellent communication skills. Strong academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree. Highly motivated and enthusiastic. A self-starter with plenty of drive and initiative.
