Meraki Talent is working with a growing mid-tier Chartered Accountancy firm on the position of Partner. Our client is seeking an experienced general practice accounting professional looking for an exciting opportunity, and who is interested in taking their career to the next level. This is a rapidly growing, privately owned mid-tier accountancy firm in Hertfordshire. The position is open to individuals operating at a senior level already, with the option to become equity owner from day 1 or salaried partner. The firm: The firm has a strong reputation for excellence and commitment to delivering outstanding client service. They have a strong footprint in the Hertfordshire region, with most of the client base and portfolio being local businesses, but due to their recent growth and vast network, they are starting to attract larger clients and bigger types of business. The firm specializes in general practice services including financial reporting, financial management, tax, and strategic business advice, alongside audit. With the recent addition of a new head of audit, the audit work will move toward a more dedicated service line and team, eventually allowing this role to be 100% audit-free. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert financial reporting and management services. Business partner with clients, offering strategic business advice to assist them in achieving their financial goals and enhancing their operations. Oversee, manage, and advise on tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring clients are informed of their obligations and opportunities. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement growth strategies for the firm. Mentor, coach, and train staff of all levels, from less experienced staff on training contracts through to mid-manager level, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Qualifications: ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification. Extensive experience in general practice, with a strong background in financial reporting, management, and tax. Proven history of building and maintaining client relationships. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
