Join us as Head of Core Platforms Take on a leading role where you’ll focus on enhancing the end customer experience and delivering our business and technology vision. You’ll be managing all aspects of change, operational health, and efficacy of the platforms and applications that make up your domain. You’ll use your technical and leadership skills in a constantly evolving environment. What you'll do

This is a key strategic role as we create a domain aligned operating model for the RBSI Chief Operating Office. We’re looking for someone to deliver the technology strategic roadmap with the right architecture outcomes and alignment to enterprise architecture, solutions, and commercial value. You’ll help us to achieve the domain’s customer vision and commercial outcomes, making sure that there is the right balance between current goals and building future technology, at the right cost. We’ll look to you to lead and transform people, technology, and architecture, engaging everyone by articulating a compelling purpose and building strong working relationships with all domains and centres of excellence. You’ll also be: Running a front-to-back domain, managing the top of house technology risks, innovating and increasing the flow of customer value, and improving the change and run efficiency. Working to reduce technical debt and effectively holding peers to account around the impact of customer decisions across the technology life cycle. Aiming to get to the right workstack of run, change, and innovation that enhances customer value through small and frequent deployments. The skills you'll need

You’ll also need: Senior leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills at all levels. Good technical knowledge of one or more back-end systems such as core banking, payments, or risk platforms. Broad commercial technical acumen with a track record of delivering to budget. The ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to colleagues at all levels.
