A large, well-respected FM provider is looking for a Permit Manager for a high-profile contract in the King's Cross area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all permits on-site, including signing off permits for the client. Strong communication and technical skills are essential, as you will assess contractors due on-site and ensure compliance with all safety standards.

The business has a turnover of £80M and has been operating in the City of London for over 30 years. Role Responsibilities

Issue, review, and control permits to work, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and legal requirements. Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) to ensure alignment with regulations and client policies. Verify contractor competence, monitor works, and ensure adherence to agreed safety standards. Conduct permit audits and on-site compliance checks to uphold safety and quality standards. Manage permits for high-risk activities (e.g., hot works, confined spaces, electrical systems) and works affecting critical infrastructure. Provide updates and detailed reports on permit activity, compliance, and incidents. Act as the main contact for client and contractor communication, resolving issues and aligning operations with client objectives. Enhance permit procedures, streamline processes, and improve safety practices across the board. Requirements
