What we are looking for: Wickford PCN is seeking a passionate and qualified GP to join our multidisciplinary team (MDT). We invite newly qualified GPs who have completed their training within the last two years to apply. You'll be expected to work in accordance with GMC standards and demonstrate good medical practice while meeting DES requirements. In this role, you will work across the practices, providing clinical care, including home visits, to our diverse patient population for 4 to 5 sessions per week.

Package and Benefits

Competitive sessional rate, 25 days annual leave pro rata, NHS Pension enrolment, opportunities to develop your career. Contract largely in line with the BMA model contract. Opportunity to extend contract dependent on funding and NHS DES from April 2025. Support from GP leads at each practice and the wider PCN team.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

You must be a Registered GP with the GMC, possess the right to work in the UK, and be included on the NHS performers list. The applicant must have been qualified after October 2022, therefore, have been qualified for less than 2 years. You will be required to fulfil a range of duties in line with each practice specific priority areas. This means your role will be exciting, diverse and involve a broad range of patient care.

Due to this fact, you will be required to hold a full UK driving licence as the role may involve travel to care homes and/or patients' residential homes.
