tiata fahodzi is currently seeking a Production Manager for their forthcoming national tour of their short plays EVERYWHERE: Triple Bill in March/April 2025.
EVERYWHERE: Triple Bill are 3 new commissioned short plays by writers of British African heritage. The plays explore the provocation of ‘what we do in what spaces matter’ and uses ‘everywhere’ as a backdrop for instigating conversations and curiosity between artists and audiences. The plays have been written by Yusra Warsama, Magero and Anyebe Godwin.
Venues on the tour include: Nottingham Playhouse; Sheffield Theatres; Birmingham REP; Live Theatre; Lincoln Performing Arts; Belgrade Coventry amongst others. The tour also features a number of community-centered locations including libraries, a church and a community centre. As such there will be a degree of needing to support the Designer and Director in ensuring the plays can be adapted into each space as part of the tour.

First Performance: 26 March 2025, Dugdale Arts Centre Enfield
Touring: 27 March – 12 April 2025
Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside the creatives to oversee the design aspects of the touring plays.
Liaising with tour venues technical departments to ensure tech specs, lighting and sound plans are communicated in advance of attending venues.
Managing the tour logistics including van hiring, technical rehearsals and the first move when on tour.
Working with external contractors for any set build.
Supporting on the sourcing of any technical provision as required by the Production.
Holding the production budget and working alongside tiata fahodzi’s Executive Producer and/or freelancer to deliver the budget.
Financial management and reporting of the production budget.
Supporting environmental responsibilities adhering to tiata fahodzi’s Environmental Policies and supporting in creating a sustainable production process.
Leading production meetings.
Fee
A fixed fee of £2000 inclusive of VAT. Additional expenses, approved by the Executive Producer as required including travel and accommodation whilst supporting the tour.
