Manufacturing Engineer - Process Development Clevedon Competitive Salary & Benefits Our Client is seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer - Process Development, this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving process advancements and leading strategic investments for our manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer - Process Development Challenge and enhance existing and new manufacturing techniques to broaden capabilities. Develop business cases for new investments and process modifications. Contribute to the overall investment strategy for process development. Manage investment projects from concept through to implementation using the clients project management principles. Liaise with suppliers and collaborate with the clients Capex team. Oversee the handover of new processes to production, ensuring stakeholders are well-prepared. Monitor savings and cost levels for new investments and improvement initiatives. Drive data-driven manufacturing through strategic investments. Establish initial process capability baselines and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts. Skills and Experience required of the Manufacturing Engineer - Process Development Essential: HND/Degree in an engineering discipline. Experience leading projects or work packages. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. IT proficiency with a keen interest in IoT and digitalisation. Desirable: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of project management methods (Prince2, Agile, Scrum, or similar). Experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing setting. Aerospace manufacturing experience. Ambition to pursue IEng/CEng accreditation or equivalent.
