Management Accountant

Job Title: Management Accountant Salary: Competitive Industry: Engineering Location: Glenrothes, Fife Role purpose for Management Accountant: The Management Accountant's main responsibilities will include a lead role in the preparation of monthly engineering management accounts and presenting these in monthly reviews with engineering/program teams. Duties & responsibilities for Management Accountant: Analysis of monthly business figures Fixed and variable cost analysis Cost centre budget tracking Annual business planning and interim forecast updates Project risk assessment and profitability analysis Support business reporting to stakeholders Participate in month end close process Maintain integrity and consistency of expense recording Respond to queries from business departments Costing of motors and components in SAP Analysis of material price variances Analysis of production order variances Improve quality and depth of business reporting Share learnings with colleagues Document processes and procedures Continuous review of tasks and improvement of processe Qualifications & experience for Management Accountant: Degree in Finance, Business or related studies and a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ICA or CIMA) Experience of SAP production accounting and costing Minimum 3 years of experience in a Management Accounting role Knowledge of MS Office products with a high proficiency in MS Excel Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative Interviews available immediately for the most suitable Management Accountant candidates
