We are seeking EV Powertrain Development Engineers to support Start of Production Projects, playing a pivotal role in the evolution of electrified vehicles.

This position offers the chance to work closely with industry-leading customers to develop, test, and optimise the performance of Electrified Powertrains for upcoming vehicle programs.

Your responsibilities as an EV Powertrain Development Engineer:

Lead testing campaigns from defining requirements to data analysis and reporting. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to outline testing requirements (technical and timing) and supervise the testing facility setup. Provide on-site support as needed to ensure successful delivery of testing campaigns. Process and analyse data promptly to inform engineering decisions. Offer daily updates on project and testing status to all stakeholders, ensuring any issues are formally logged and addressed. Guide technical direction to test facilities and other stakeholders and support internal presentations, training, and knowledge exchange.

Your current experience which will help you as an EV Powertrain Development Engineer:

A Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or a related engineering field. Proven experience in powertrain development or testing, with specific knowledge of Electric Drive Units and batteries. Exceptional analytical skills, capable of making clear technical recommendations supported by data. A self-starter attitude; able to operate with high-level instructions and minimal detail, proactively seeking relevant information and support. Strong communication skills, able to effectively share technical information with both internal and customer teams. Flexibility and adaptability to engage with various commodities, such as battery/charging/inverter systems.
