Currently, design services are outsourced to a trusted framework of MEP Design Consultants; however, bringing such expertise in-house is seen as business critical as the company prepares for significant growth due to the successful tender of major long term projects. To kick off this change in dynamic, the business is keen to secure the services of a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer with a wealth of HVAC experience across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Take responsibility from initial conception through to detailed design and handover. Collaborate closely with the Estimation and Operations Teams to complete a wide range of schemes from simple refurbishment to larger complex developments. Engage intelligently with architects, contractors, and developers to install confidence at all stages of the process. Requirements:
Currently operating at an advanced Intermediate or Senior Engineer level. Significant HVAC experience across multiple sectors. Fully conversant with design software. Significant career development awaits the successful applicant with a Design Manager role likely to be created and direct reports to oversee, as the division grows and becomes more instrumental in D&B activities.
