We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated senior clinical pharmacist to work closely with the community-based staff and be responsible for: Establishing a baseline and database of HDAT (High Dose Antipsychotic Therapy) prescribing within the STaTT community teams. Education & Qualifications
Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification. Experience
Experience of delivering a clinical pharmacy service including prescribing. Experience of working in mental health. Evidence of sound technical pharmaceutical & clinical knowledge to optimise safe and effective use of medicines. Experience of policy/procedure writing and implementation. Experience in cost improvement programmes/managing changes. Knowledge & Skills
Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing. Able to plan own workload with priorities and objectives and cope with conflicting pressures. Able to work as a team and independently. Ability to influence the prescribing practice of others. Evidence of involvement in education and training. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. Salary: £50,952 to £57,349 per annum pro rata.
