As a Graduate Electronic Engineer, you will join the team to help design analogue, digital, and computer-based electronic systems. Your responsibilities will include: Solving our customers' complex safety challenges with solutions that provide full, long-term protection and control of mission-critical systems. Agreeing on the optimum solution in terms of cost, timescale, and ease of implementation. Establishing a number of customer solutions. Conducting detailed analysis of specific aspects of existing equipment to establish requirements for replacement or refurbishment. Liaising with suppliers regarding the supply and support of third-party equipment. Carrying out specified design and development work in your area of competence. Supporting installation and commissioning of equipment on the customer's site. Maintaining good customer relationships by presenting a professional engineering approach to the work. Supporting the team's engineering capabilities with individual skill and determination. Developing personal engineering capability across the safety system and instrumentation areas. Producing technical reports that clearly identify the preferred course of action after analysis of legacy designs. Carrying out all work ethically, safely, and in accordance with relevant standards and best practices within the nuclear industry. Performing any other relevant duties as required. Demonstrable ability in electrical work and/or analogue and digital electronics using conventional logic families and programmable logic. Appropriate degree in an electrical or electronic field. DOORS knowledge is an advantage. Capable of producing good oral and written communications. Desired Skills: Experience in electronics equipment design or maintenance in a regulated industry. Essential Functions: Flexibility to travel within the UK. Ability to obtain security clearance up to SC level.
