NHS Ayrshire & Arran - Home (nhsaaa.net) Position: An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Staff Nurse at Ward 9, Woodland View, Ayrshire Central Hospital. What you will do: You will be an integral member of the in-patient team, providing high-quality clinical care for people with mental health difficulties. You will have delegated responsibilities for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, ensuring that your clinical practice delivers high-quality care. You will support the nursing team in the provision of safe and effective clinical practice and assist in the enhancement of patient’s experience of care. You will also contribute to the delivery of the department's objectives whilst working in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: A registered Mental Health Nurse on Part 3 of the NMC register. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a well-developed knowledge of care of people with mental health problems. You will display a positive attitude towards enhancing the care experience of service users. You will have a willingness to engage in training opportunities to enhance your knowledge base and be able to provide evidence of professional development. Hours: 37 per week. A flexible approach to shift patterns will be essential across the 24/7 period.
