We are looking to appoint a Casual Assistant Caretaker to work at Mount Pleasant Primary School. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to work in our amazing new building and keep it looking its very best. Main Duties: Site security, opening and closing the school. Basic school building and grounds maintenance. Cleaning duties. Our ideal candidate would be someone who: Will maintain the school buildings and grounds to the highest possible standard, ensuring a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Has a professional, calm and friendly approach. Is motivated, innovative, adaptable, and enthusiastic in all aspects of their work. Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with a range of people, including parents/carers, pupils, visitors, and staff. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Business Manager. As this is a casual post, there are no set hours, and the successful candidate should be flexible and able to work on an ‘as and when required’ basis.
