Job Purpose To encourage a continuous improvement approach in all that we do to ensure effective results for the organisation. You will have significant experience working with both agile and waterfall project teams across different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. You will work closely with your Engineering Managers and Product Owners to plan and agree on your deliverables. As a Project Manager, you will ensure the timescales are clearly estimated and documented. You will manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, working with business stakeholders for effective planning, reporting, and the launch of new products. This may also result in changes to business processes. You will use your excellent communication skills to provide regular, timely updates on your project plans, deliverables, and actuals to your stakeholders. Job Duties Maintain Overarching Plan: Be responsible for maintaining the overarching plan across your workstreams, aligning priorities with your product counterpart. Effective Planning and Management: Ensure effective planning and management of milestones. Project Governance: Apply project governance aligned with the project lifecycle of the Delivery team from project setup to closure. Team Coaching: Coach the team to effectively apply the right methodologies appropriate for the project. Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvements from project retrospectives. Dependency Management: Identify cross-project dependencies and work with the Programme Manager and other Project Managers to manage them effectively. Change, Risk, and Resource Management: Apply effective change, risk, and resource management within your workstream, aligning with Engineering Managers and Product Owners where appropriate. Communication and Reporting: Deliver clear communication and reporting on project status to your team and the Delivery leadership team. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders across all facets of the organisation to ensure their needs and expectations are met. Third-Party Relationships: Define and document the most appropriate strategy to build and maintain excellent relationships with third parties. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential Great interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships both internally and with our 3rd party suppliers. A can-do attitude is a must, to keep our teams and suppliers moving in the right direction to succeed. Adept at working in a fast-paced challenging environment whilst managing high expectations from internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communications skills to provide timely updates on plans and execution to your stakeholders. Ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements from within, spotting trends early and removing impediments for your team(s). Strong attention to detail. Experience in managing Data, AWS, and BI Transformation would be beneficial.
