What you'll be doing: In collaboration with other business areas and stakeholders, the Automation Test Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the test automation strategy, relating to the strategic change programme. They will also need to support the programme through effective communication at all levels of the organisation including our partners. The role will involve automation testing across all software phases: unit, system, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. Define and implement the test automation strategy Mentor and lead the testers in software automation, ensuring skill development Evaluate and select the appropriate test automation tools Support the Test Managers in planning and delivering all automation and non-functional test activities for the programme Keep up to date with advancements in automation tools, methodologies and trends Collaborate with internal & external partners to deliver against the agreed test activities and deliverables in a timely manner Actively participate in planning activities and provide test effort against the work required to be carried out What we’re looking for: 7+ years’ Automation experience gained using Selenium Web Driver 2+ years’ Performance testing experience 2+ years’ API testing using Postman Excellent communication (written and oral) Excellent planning and organisation skills Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills with a Pro-active, ‘can-do’ behaviour and attitude Ability to lead a team to deliver effectively at a portfolio level Ability to mentor and support team members in developing their skillset but also helping them to meet their objectives Ability to represent the company when dealing with 3rd parties and external partners What you can expect from us: Generous pension contributions with an employer contribution of up to 14% Real living wage Income protection, critical illness cover & death in service insurance Employee healthcare Parental and adoption leave Learning & development opportunities and study support Travel season ticket loans Subsidised restaurant in our Crawley office Volunteering days and charity payroll giving Onsite gym Ride-to-Work scheme Social clubs and events You can learn more about how we support our employees on our website.
