Douglas Park Glasgow is looking for a BMW Product Genius. Your role At Douglas Park BMW you’ll be known as a Product Genius, but your role revolves around the customer experience. Our Product Geniuses are our in-branch experts. They are devoted to learning about our products and helping our customers make the right choice both in person and digitally about their new car. This exciting role will be a great fit for someone who delivers exceptional customer service and who is full of exciting new ideas about how to create the best customer experience. In addition to in-branch training, you will also become certified by the BMW Academy, which means we are looking for someone keen to develop their knowledge and an ability to structure their own learning to support this. Day-to-day duties: Preparing the showroom and cars for the day ahead. Assist with showroom presentation and advertising. Keep all dealership staff up to date with the latest information on products to ensure they have a high level of understanding. Supporting the Sales department and delivering excellent customer experience. Plan, coordinate, and deliver brilliant test-drive experiences with our Park’s customers, giving them full insight into the requested vehicle during the appointment. Learn about our products so you can help our customers find the perfect fit. Enhancing the customer journey from enquiry to delivery. Support marketing activity by taking imagery of vehicles and utilising digital and social media platforms for promotion. Cameras at the ready! Assist with customer handovers by demonstrating and setting them up with all the fantastic new features of their new vehicle. Your profile As a Product Genius, you will be required to use your expert knowledge to engage and spark excitement in customers as a first point of contact in the dealership. Your passion for the product and brand paired with outstanding customer service skills will send you on the road to success. You’ll be a confident and engaging communicator who understands that a positive attitude gets great results and is able to put people at ease. A passion for automotive technology and keen to keep up to date with the latest innovations and trends. Willingness to go the extra mile. From the initial exploration stages to the final handover and aftersales assistance, you’ll be responsible for ensuring an outstanding customer journey that’s memorable for all the right reasons. A full UK driving licence. Competent IT skills. As happy working on your own initiative as you are in a team.
