Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and possess the skills necessary to lead a team effectively. This role involves ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, managing materials handling, and maintaining a safe working environment. SHIFT :
Monday to Friday 14:00pm - 22:30pm (these may be subject to change in accordance with business needs) PAY RATE :
£13.85 per hour Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and updates in the warehouse management system. Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices for safety, efficiency, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment. Assist with heavy lifting and movement of products as required. Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to streamline processes and resolve any issues that arise. Qualifications: Requirements Experience in managing people and leading a team of warehouse staff. Hold a valid Forklift Truck Licence Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is desirable. Ability to handle physical tasks, including heavy lifting. Strong organisational skills to manage stock efficiently.
