We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our client in Carlisle and contribute to their continued growth.
The Role
As an HR Advisor, you will provide expert HR support and advice to managers and employees across the business. Your responsibilities will include: Being a key contact for HR-related queries across various departments. Promoting best practice and actively contributing to the education and development of line managers and service centre colleagues to enable them to understand and effectively deliver people management practices. Providing professional, consistent, accurate, and timely advice and guidance on the interpretation and implementation of people management policies, practices, and statutory requirements, effectively managing the People Management Portal to improve customer experience. Contributing to the development and implementation of key people management policies, procedures, and guidance to meet organisational needs. Reviewing and analysing HR metrics and People Management Portal data to identify trends and interventions to support people management practices and promote the use of metrics and a performance management culture with service managers. Ensuring HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with legal requirements. About You:
The ideal candidate will bring a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to HR challenges. You will have: A CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Hours and Pay:
