CEO What you’ll be doing: - Support the analysis and identification the training needs of local community organisations regarding SYV and exploitation - Develop relationships with community stakeholders, including children, young people and parents, to support and raise awareness of violence reduction programmes - Produce reports and recommendations based upon consultations - Work with Young K&C and RBKC to support campaigns and communications activities to raise awareness of tackling serious violence and exploitation; spotting the signs and risks and whereto access help and support - Develop a toolkit for parents and professionals that builds community awareness of violence reduction programmes - Coordinate and evaluate informative sessions and training for parents, residents and partners on serious violence, county lines, and gangs, while incorporating their feedback and concerns - Work with Young K&C and RBKC to promote our interactive platform for young people to share experiences, access resources, and explore positive pathways - Work with children and young people to identify key themes and ensure youth voice is central to strategic planning - Foster collaboration between the ITV Steering Group, service providers, and community members to develop planning and reporting About the project: The It Takes a Village Coordinator will support us in delivering better futures for children and young people at risk or involved in issues surrounding community safety, including serious youth violence (SYV), youth justice and exploitation. The role works in partnership with Young K&C and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s (RBKC) Community Safety Team to build strong relationship across the sector to reduce violence in the community.
