RG Consultancy are pleased to be working with an excellent large financial turnover business based near Pontefract who are looking for a management accountant to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an excellent role that comes with progression for someone who is ambitious and looking to climb the ladder within finance. This role will join a team of 6 within finance and will eventually become a management role to support 3 of the accounts staff. This is a well-recognised company that looks after all staff members and doesn't have a high staff turnover.
This is a hands-on role, where you will work together within the office, and your duties will not be limited to management accounts. As a small team, you will be required to support the ledger clerks and office staff.
Duties will include:
Preparation and production of monthly management accounts for 2 companies within the group
Balance sheet reconciliations
Accruals, prepayments, and journals
Fixed assets
Budgets and forecasting
Review costings and margins
Support the ledger clerks and accounts assistants with general accounts
Support the office staff where needed
Other ad hoc duties as required
Skills:
Part ACCA/CIMA qualified or FULLY qualified is essential for this role
Strong IT skills including Pivot tables/V-Lookups
Assisted with software implementation would be an advantage

Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with an hour lunch (some flexibility on start and finish times)
Office based initially with flexibility after probation
24 days + bank holidays - increase every year by 1 day to the maximum of 27 days
