Description & Background :
We're seeking experienced Project Managers to join the Sizewell C project, one of the UK's largest megaprojects. This nuclear power station will provide clean electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years. You'll join at a vital stage of construction, with opportunities to grow with the project while contributing to Britain's Net Zero goals by 2050.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage on-site project activities
Ensure project delivery within budget and schedule
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Drive project objectives and milestones
Implement project management best practices
Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities
Monitor compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Identify and mitigate project risks
Optimize efficiency and quality
Support successful project progression
Experience Required:
Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects (£18m+)
Background in major complex projects (e.g., HS2, HPC, Thames Tideway)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
Experience with NEC 3/4 contracts
Multi-program construction background
Ability to deliver in fast-paced environments
Desirable Qualifications:
Civil engineering, construction management, or related field qualification
NEC 3/4 or Construction qualifications
Relevant professional memberships
Experience in energy sector projects
Track record of successful project delivery
