Systems Engineer

to join us at Marshall, somebody who can undertake specific engineering work packages to support delivery of systems to meet requirements, schedule and cost. This is a fantastic arena to bed down your systems capability and deliver high-integrity products in a purpose-driven industry. Key Responsibilities:

Promoting and upholding the company values and procedures. Promoting and adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental best practices. Working to standards, processes & procedures, ensuring rigor, resilience, and continuous improvement in solutions, meeting all regulatory requirements, conforming to specifications, quality, and certification requirements. Supporting the technical compliance, verification, and validation activities of all contractual, statutory, and legal requirements. Working closely with the design, engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure the most cost-effective solution is developed, compliant with requirements and legislation. Ensuring solutions are tolerant of the environment in which they operate. Qualifications:

A sound understanding of engineering principles. Experience in Systems or Project Engineering. Excellent planning and organization skills. Good IT skills, including Word and Excel. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with energy and enthusiasm. Ability to apply your skills and knowledge across a wide and diverse range of projects. Broad understanding of manufacturing techniques including sheet metal fabrication, riveting, bonding, and welding. Ability to work accurately and at pace. Benefits:

Competitive salary and remuneration package including 27 days holiday, pension contributions matched up to 9%. Flexible working with some opportunity for hybrid working ideally 3 days onsite in Cambridge. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
