Litigation Deputy Team Manager - Secondment Kindertons Accident Management Crewe Fixed Term Contract Jan 27, 2025 The Deputy Team Manager for Litigation is responsible for assisting on assessing and managing the risk of litigation, including Kindertons Group debt outsourced with both Client and Kindertons appointed Solicitors.

Duties include: Oversee the day-to-day running of the team. Management of the team's work productivity. Managing & maintaining insurer relationships. Arranging conference calls with insurers to complete debt deals and problem-solve frictional issues. Where required, represent the business on external insurer visits. Ensure swift settlement on the unpaid cases within your remit, ensuring they do not age. Collating, preparing, and delivering the team's performance reviews in line with the Achievement & Development Framework. Review and produce development plans in line with audit results and observations. Coach, support, and empower the team. To provide 'manager relief' in the event of holidays/sickness. Ensure collective targets are attained. To resource, manage, and deploy resources in accordance with the business need. Review, evaluate, and lead change to any processes. Any other duties reasonably requested by management. Regularly reporting actuals against key performance indicators and explaining key deviations. Consistent achievement of KPIs and objectives whilst understanding the commercial needs of the business. To identify, analyse, and report on team and insurer performance utilising various MI methods. Leading and coordinating various recoveries projects ensuring effective communication with all areas of the business to ensure alignment and open communication. Demonstrate company core values in all working practices. Ensure full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements appropriate to the business.

You should have:

Sound judgement and technical knowledge, together with commercial awareness. Excellent working knowledge of the wider insurance market specifically credit hire. Comprehensive understanding of cradle to grave claims handling. Extensive knowledge of liability, impecuniosity, basic hire rate, fraud, and complex issues. Experience of supporting and mentoring people.

This is an internal vacancy and we are not looking for any external applicants or agency engagement currently. This is a 6 month secondment.
