Your daily role

Under the direction of the Regional Director of Logistics, this role ensures the connection with our internal and external customers, optimizing customer satisfaction, distribution processes, inventory levels and the use of storage with a strategic vision while adhering to the established safety and quality procedures. Manage a distribution team of around 40 employees across several warehouses/distribution centers and ensure adequate planning according to the seasons; Develop a team of supervisors and management allowing the achievement of health/security, quality and customer service objectives. Development of backups internally for occasional replacements. Promote a safety culture in warehouse, food safety, waste reduction program and Lean culture; Manage incoming and outgoing shipments to meet internal/external customer expectations and key business performance indicators; Develop and implement KPIs in connection with the objectives of the company. Operational and financial management of third-party logistics (3PL) responsible for out-of-site activities; Direct strategic projects to improve storage and logistics capacities in accordance with the best practices in the industry; Manage and effectively plan budgets and find innovative means to reduce costs; Ensure that the objectives are achieved while continuously optimizing strategic vision by analyzing, planning and implementing process improvements; Direct, influence, motivate and ensure the connection with the members of the team and peers in a diversified work environment; Supervise an inventory team aimed at the accuracy of stocks, respect for FIFO and reduction of losses. Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply management, logistics management or industrial engineering or equivalent experience. 7 years or more in a warehousing or logistics management role. Demonstrated competence in occupational health and safety and food safety (knowledge of hazards, legislation, safety practices). Excellent interpersonal and listening skills to interact with a diverse workforce; a communicator with proven leadership skills in the face of change. English/French oral and written bilingualism.
