As the Senior Manager of Real Estate & Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing facility operations to a customer base through the management of large or highly specialized teams. You will contribute to the development of organizational objectives and strategic plans. Ensure that the organization's facilities are optimally maintained, safe, and aligned with long-term business goals. Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and facility utilization. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, relevant work experience 10 Years of Real Estate, Facilities, Operations, Administrative or relevant experience What will you be doing in this role? Manage and lead a large highly specialized team of facilities professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery within budget and alignment with business objectives and needs. Develop and implement long-term strategies for the optimization of facilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational efficiency. Develop and influence strategic facility management objectives. Review and analyze various budget reports for complex portfolio. Develop and implement environmental health and safety procedures for facilities, including emergency action plans, disaster recovery, business continuity, and other related procedures. Manage and lead contractors, subcontractors, and engineers on the entire maintenance aspect, ensuring timely service delivery and compliance to facility procedures. Lead and oversee the daily operation of facility controls. Establish and implement bidding procedures as required for contract maintenance activities. Develop annual operating budgets. Evaluate, forecast, and manage operations and maintenance costs for multiple locations. Management Responsibility Manage one or more teams of colleagues. Lead, direct, and review the team’s work to achieve operational or functional targets or objectives with significant contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team, department, and organization. Influence diverse stakeholder groups and drive acceptance of policies, practices, and procedures within broader area of responsibility. Influence strategic initiatives at the department-level and provide input on strategic initiatives for the organization. Deliver consistent and timely training, guidance, and feedback to encourage success and promote colleague growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities. Own decision-making for staffing decisions for the team(s). About the Team The Global Real Estate and Facilities team is made up of 40+ colleagues across 12 countries. We provide day-to-day facility management support, ensure the safety and sustainability of our offices, and provide strategic support and analysis on the effectiveness and utilization of our offices. Hours of Work On-site position working 5 days a week Monday through Friday. Working from our London office and going 1-2 times a week to our Cambridge office. Full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
