Anderson Knight Recruitment is delighted to partner with one of our key clients, a leading manufacturing business, in their search for a talented Group Accountant to join their dynamic team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a newly qualified accountant from a practice background looking to make their first move into industry. The role also welcomes candidates with relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will gain exposure to group-level reporting and consolidation, working as part of a forward-thinking finance function within a global manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Preparation and consolidation of financial reports for the group, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards. Working with key stakeholders to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts, providing insight into business performance. Ownership of the month-end process, including preparation of management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary for senior leadership. Monitoring and reporting on cash flow to support effective financial decision-making. Performing detailed reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Assisting with internal and external audit requirements, ensuring timely submission of all relevant information. Identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency. Building strong relationships with internal teams, budget holders, and external auditors.

Requirements: Newly Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA) Background in practice (highly desirable) or proven industry experience. Experience with group reporting and consolidation (advantageous but not essential). Strong technical accounting knowledge, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across departments. Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to grow within a dynamic organisation.
