Account Director , you will be the primary commercial and strategic engagement point for public sector accounts, responsible for driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships. This role focuses on identifying opportunities within existing accounts, cross-selling and upselling services, and ensuring your clients' success through innovative and tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with public sector clients, acting as their trusted advisor. Drive new business opportunities within an assigned account base, leveraging your understanding of public sector procurement frameworks. Collaborate closely with Pre-sales, Product Groups, and Service Delivery teams to deliver client-focused solutions. Lead account development plans, ensuring accurate CRM pipeline management. Conduct regular customer cadence, quarterly business reviews, and strategy sessions to align with client needs. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while delivering exceptional client value. Partner with the marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns and events strategies. Mentor and support junior sales team members to foster a collaborative team environment. Requirements: Minimum of

6+ years' experience in account management , preferably in public sector-focused roles. Proven ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives. Deep understanding of

UK public sector procurement frameworks

and industry challenges. Demonstrated success in managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with high attention to detail. Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and a data-driven approach to account management. Strong business acumen with the ability to strategically challenge the status quo and deliver results. Excellent networking, communication, and prioritisation skills. Why Join?
