About the SEN School Assistant Head Role The Assistant Headteacher will play a key role in ensuring that pupils have every opportunity to enjoy school and make outstanding progress. They will work in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team, acting as an excellent role model for colleagues. Lead an area of curriculum, assessment, or teaching and learning across the whole school. Teaching an agreed timetable within the school. Supporting the Senior Leadership Team to monitor the quality of teaching, learning, and the curriculum. Fulfilling the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
