SEN school in NE London seeks an Assistant Head to join their team and contribute to their mission of enabling children and young people to flourish and lead independent and fulfilling lives. This role is suitable for someone who is prepared to go the extra mile to enable pupils to make the progress that is right for them. About the SEN School Assistant Head Role The Assistant Headteacher will play a key role in ensuring that pupils have every opportunity to enjoy school and make outstanding progress. They will work in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team, acting as an excellent role model for colleagues. Lead an area of curriculum, assessment, or teaching and learning across the whole school. Teaching an agreed timetable within the school. Supporting the Senior Leadership Team to monitor the quality of teaching, learning, and the curriculum. Fulfilling the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. The ideal SEN Primary Assistant Head will have QTS. SEN experience from either mainstream or special settings. Primary experience. Why Join Them?
