Rate: £700 - £750 per day

Start: ASAP

IR35 Status: Inside

We require an SC Cleared Lead Developer for our Government client to join a team on a brand new project with all brand new code. We require someone with strong Node.js skills, together with AWS and Serverless experience.

You will also possess authentication and authorisation skills, along with experience in creating new APIs. Any experience with security would be desirable.

The client drives digital transformation focused on users and builds and maintains common platforms, products, and tools for others to use, creating public services that are accessible, inclusive, and easy to use.

As the SC Cleared Lead Developer, you will possess the following:

Experience in software development with Node.js Experience in building serverless (both compute and databases) on AWS Able to manage the service components to ensure they meet business needs and performance targets

Responsibilities include: Leading development on one or a small number of related project teams Guiding the ways in which the team works Being proficient in a wide range of technical systems Identifying appropriate technology and approaches, deciding when software should be written Leading the design and development of new cloud-based services, specifically making use of Serverless and Node.js Contributing to the developer community Providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to your team Promoting knowledge sharing and adoption of good practices
