Estimator - Passive Fire Protection
Location: Croydon Office (Hybrid - 3 days in-office, 2 days from home)
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum + package
Are you an Estimator looking to work with a leading company in passive fire protection and fire stopping? My client specialises in delivering high-quality projects across the healthcare, hospitality, leisure, commercial, social housing, heritage, and industrial sectors throughout the UK. With offices in the North, Midlands, and South of England, we're seeking a skilled Estimator to join the team in Croydon.
The Role As an Estimator, you will: Prepare accurate cost estimates for passive fire protection and fire stopping projects. Analyse project requirements, specifications, and tender documents. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather relevant information. Develop competitive bids and proposals, ensuring they align with client needs and budgets. Monitor costs and project profitability, providing insights to the management team. Stay updated on market trends and pricing for materials and labour.
About You The ideal candidate will: Have proven experience as an Estimator in passive fire protection and fire stopping. Possess a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and project requirements. Be detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in preparing accurate estimates. Have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Be confident working on multiple projects within tight deadlines.
