Knowledge and Experience
4 years or more full time post graduate experience (or its equivalent gained on a part time or flexible basis), at least 2 years of which has been in an adult general medicine speciality which can be relevant to Haematology General adult medicine (minimum 2 years) Experience working within haematology Ability to perform lumber punctures Ability to perform bone marrow biopsies Bone marrow stem cell transplantation Skills and Abilities
Good spoken and written English that is adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues Able to undertake and to delegate responsibility. Ability to cope with stress Teaching: evidence of interest and experience in teaching where required in the job Knowledge of principles of Audit and willingness to participate in projects Qualifications and Training
MBBS or equivalent primary medical qualification MRCP or equivalent Registration with GMC FRCPath or equivalent specialist haematology qualification Additional and Aptitudes
