As a Team Manager, you will assist in delivering Turning Point’s substance use strategy within a multi-disciplinary service that reflects our person-centred values and the high levels of ambition we have both for the recovery of the individuals for whom we provide support and the development of our own team members. We offer a starting salary of £35,490 rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, up to £41,518 per year. (Dependent on experience, you may be offered a starting salary above the initial starting salary). Role Responsibilities

Provide visible leadership to your team, public, community, and voluntary organisations in relation to substance use recovery. Develop partnerships to engage with agencies and organisations to support the building of recovery infrastructure in the community. Identify, risk assess, and manage the Lowestoft hub and satellite provision in community buildings. Contribute to the effective planning of excellent person-centred care and support plans throughout the hub that meet the needs of clients in accordance with the recovery agenda. Help to ensure the delivery of excellent person-centred interventions with individuals for whom we provide support within the service. Help to achieve long-term goals by being aware of the substance use strategy, working with the Operations Manager to help align the service and service plan to it. Help to achieve the service’s financial targets by being aware of financial spend and cost-effective operations within the hub, operating at all times in line with Turning Point’s financial procedures, reporting progress, and escalating concerns to your Operations Manager. Develop, implement and support recovery-focused initiatives within the Suffolk Drug and Alcohol Service. The Ideal Candidate

Demonstrable leadership skills and flexible and adaptable leadership style. Create an inclusive and positive environment to enable the team to thrive. In-depth understanding and ability to operationally and performance manage the functions of the team. Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and ability to adapt to respond to staff, commissioners/partners, and people we support. Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills. Ability to remain calm and resilient in high-pressure environments. Ability to work in partnership across a range of settings. Previous experience managing a similar service/team. About Us
