The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Data & Marketing Operations Assistant to join the EnergyNet division at Clarion Events. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about data and eager to grow in marketing operations. Reporting to and working closely with the Marketing Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data trends, recommending techniques to increase lead generation and conversion across target markets, and ensuring robust data management and quality of leads for key customer groups. Key Responsibilities: Assist with running data queries to segment, personalise and analyse data sets. Build GDPR-compliant forms, email campaigns, and data segmentation. Collaborate with campaign teams to maintain data flow across all events. Monitor data quality across all databases and touchpoints. Oversee marketing assets, tags and naming conventions. Liaise with the Data and IT teams to integrate data across various platforms. Support website maintenance, digital tools, and customer experience initiatives. Use dashboards to provide behavioral insights that drive customer conversion, engagement, and retention. Analyse data trends to recommend appropriate strategies, techniques & channels. Implement data privacy policies across marketing initiatives. Work with Group Marketing Operations to align on best practices. Continued learning about marketing technologies and automation. Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours: Strong curiosity and enthusiasm for data and analytics. A logical thinker with great problem-solving skills. Analytical – excited about uncovering data insights. Meticulous attention to detail. Strong desire to learn new skills and tools for marketing, data and digital applications. Confident Communicator with excellent verbal and written skills. Knowledge/experience of marketing automation and CRM technology would be a bonus. Any experience in data, digital, media or events industry would be a bonus.
