We are recruiting a Graduate Planner to support the planning team on multidisciplinary projects through the delivery of day to day tasks and contribution to Project milestones. You will carry out allocated tasks to a high standard, working as part of a team and/or independently. Attending meetings and workshops as and when required. The role will require attendance in LSTC offices, travel to Client offices for workshops and meetings, and site visits (as required). Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Project Coordination, Health & Safety, Quality Systems

Support Projects through delivering day to day work and contributing to meeting key deadlines and Project milestones. Produce high-quality deliverables for various Projects within the planning team. Work collaboratively as part of a team and/or independently. Be proactive and use initiative to find solutions and answers to successfully complete tasks. Communication between LSTC departments as and when required for certain tasks. Exposure to other LSTC departments such as Engineering. Ensure key documents and correspondence of Projects are logged, including keeping the Project Timeline (if necessary) up to date. Attend meetings, workshops and site visits as and when required, including minute taking. People Management, Staff Development, Systems Development

Buddy-up with other junior members of staff. Review and peer review work carried out by other junior members of staff, where required. Planning & GIS

Support the production of feasibility, planning and GIS related elements of various Projects. Support in the development of corridors, alignment and routes for the Project. Exposure to other topics/disciplines within LSTC (e.g., Engineering). Developing understanding of planning, spatial awareness and GIS activities. Developing understanding of ESRI GIS software, using them to complete and deliver tasks. General

You may also have to work on other non-transmission related planning schemes. You may also have to work on other activities related to other LSTC departments. Carry out reasonable duties as directed by the line manager or department leads. Willing to work at other LSTC or Client Offices and/or attend site visits as required. Contribute within the Company to our Health and Safety culture. Qualifications and Experience Qualifications

Educated to a degree level in relevant subject such as Geography, Planning or Environmental Sciences (or similar). An awareness of GIS software would be advantageous.
