Our client - Is a leading provider of commercial vending machines and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality vending solutions to businesses across multiple sectors, including hotels, offices, gyms, and hospitals. They are seeking a passionate and experienced Field Service Engineer, ideally with experience in coffee or vending, to join their Service Team to cover the East Midlands area. Experience with free-standing vending machines and table-top coffee machines (e.g., WESTOMATIC, CRANE, and COFFETEK) is preferred. Job Description - Good customer service skills are essential, reporting to the Service Manager. The role is fully field-based, working from home with weekly scheduled visits to the Head Office in Nottingham. The working hours are flexible based on the needs of the business, and additional hours may be required due to business demands. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. You will be responsible for the service and maintenance of vending machines in the East Midlands area, along with the following: Install, commission, and set up coffee and vending machine equipment Perform pre-planned preventative maintenance services Attend reactive breakdown and repair call-outs Provide operator training (e.g., operation and cleaning of coffee equipment) Manage and conduct monthly stock takes of spare parts on your service van Supply timely paperwork, including full completion of service reports (with photos if required) Support colleagues and engage proactively with all areas of the business Ensure delivery of excellent customer service Communicate with the Service Desk to ensure the completion of calls and update the in-house system, working towards a first-time resolution Support with site surveys and machine installations when applicable Maintain a smart and presentable appearance at all times with a flexible approach to work Skills and Abilities Ideally, experience working on vending or coffee machines or some transferable skills Electrical installation experience, electro-mechanical experience, or a relevant qualification in electrical engineering or electrical installations Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with all customers in a calm manner Benefits Basic salary up to £30K (depending on experience) Company vehicle Full company training Generous holiday package Extra pay for overtime Opportunities for further progression
