Exciting role on offer for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join an expanding business, working on multi-million pound projects where you will be fully supported to become Chartered and progress your career.

Do you have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar such as Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering? Do you have some industry experience working as a QS? Are you looking to join a growing business where you will have an exciting future with opportunities for progression whilst working on exciting projects?

About the Company: This dynamic, forward-thinking consultancy provides cost management and architectural services to a range of clients within the food, healthcare, and industrial sectors. They work for a number of blue-chip clients overseeing works including new builds, refurbishments, and extensions. They have seen massive growth over the past 3 years and work with a number of growing sectors within the commercial construction sector. They are looking to invest in the future of the business and are therefore looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with consultancy experience who can progress within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Commercial Manager. Play an integral part of the client-facing team. Ensure client projects are effectively planned and delivered on time and within budget. Prepare capital cost estimates, pricing documents, and commercial evaluations. Negotiate with tenderers. Support to become a Chartered QS.

The Person: Quantity Surveyor with experience of working on commercial projects. Desire to work client-side and deal directly with clients. Must live local to Derby or be serious about relocating to the area. Must have a valid UK passport for travel purposes.
