We are looking for experienced practitioners to: Be keyworkers out on the farm teaching the curriculum through nature and our animals. Maximise our sustainability to reduce our carbon footprint. Prepare food we grow to serve to the children. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baby Room Practitioner to join our nurturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers in a safe and stimulating environment. Your ability to communicate effectively in English, manage children's needs, and foster their development will be essential in creating a positive experience for both the children and their families. Responsibilities Provide attentive and responsive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood education and support the developmental milestones of each child. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships within the nursery setting. Manage daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times, while maintaining a clean and organised environment. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and sharing insights with parents. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and leadership within the nursery. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided in the baby room while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures. Qualifications Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is required. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is required. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence among colleagues and contribute to a positive working environment. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development through play-based learning experiences.
