Job Description: This central Newcastle (NE1) Engineering Consultancy is seeking to expand their building structures design team with the hire of a structural engineer to deliver their expanding workload.
Responsibilities: As a practice, they work on Civil/Structural projects across the North, ranging in value from £1.5m to £25m in construction value. Their projects are both new build and refurbishment in nature, and they deliver both civil/structural design services and CDM.
This role is to join an existing team of 8 Structural Engineers to support the Associate in the design and delivery of their structural projects. The role will rapidly develop to becoming a project engineer, with responsibility for their own projects as well as the design and analysis packages.
Requirements: This will most likely suit a structural engineer with a number of years with a consultancy who is finding their career has somewhat flatlined and they are now looking for an opportunity where their career can be taken to the next level and they can be supported to secure their chartership.
