Jackson Hogg have partnered with an exclusive client in the Basingstoke area, with their search for a Quality & Compliance Engineer to support with their growth and management of the Quality Management Systems. This role will be initially based in the Basingstoke area for the start of employment, then will be eligible to work up to 60% remotely. Travel to other sites in the UK will be required when necessary. Senior Quality & Compliance Engineer Responsibilities:

Assess and analyse existing production life cycles and identify areas for improvement in productivity, efficiency, or compliance in product design. Develop and control the maintenance and continuous improvement of ISO9001 and AS9100 management systems, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with the latest standards. Implement new QMS including ISO9001 and AS9100 within the site. Support, lead and manage all aspects of Quality and QMS, ensuring adherence to the highest standards. Proactively address and resolve quality-related issues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring swift and effective resolution. Monitor and respond to changes in industry standards set by governing bodies, ensuring ongoing compliance and proactive adaptation. Conduct regular audits of processes against the internal management system, providing comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations for improvement. Champion the organisation's commitment to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and implementing best practices across all quality-related activities. Qualifications/Experience:

Previous experience in quality or compliance focused roles. Experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 regulatory codes. Ideally having knowledge of ListX and security standards. Proficient auditing and compliance experience. Engineering background, ideally in Electronics Manufacturing, specifically in Quality and Compliance roles. Excellent report writing skills, demonstrating clarity and consistency throughout. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel. Full Clean UK Driving Licence with the ability to travel to all group sites when required.
