07701023271 A great opportunity has arisen for the right person to join Adult Social Care as the Registered Manager for 220 Preston Road. This is a registered care home that supports people with complex needs and is a regulated service. Adult Social Care work in partnership to support people to 'have a life, not a service' supporting people to experience love, friendships, and relationships, have meaning in their lives and to live safely in the place they call home as valued and contributing members of their communities for the people of Hull. This means that we want to deliver on the Care Act requirement which is to support people to develop and maintain their wellbeing. We invite you to be part of this journey, where your role as the Registered Manager is essential in delivering and embedding excellent care and practice that is compliant with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements under legislation and supporting across the service with our continuous improvement and learning. The post-holder will lead a team of up to 50 staff, embed person-centred practice, and support the continuous development of the service. They will report to the Head of Regulated Service and Internal Provision and will be an integral member of the Adult Social Care Senior Leadership team, responsible for shaping and developing new ways of working by providing skilled and experienced management of a professional workforce. The post-holder will lead and manage the requirements under CQC and other legislation/guidance including Health & Safety, infection and prevention control, fire safety, and safeguarding, including a very good understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS. They will ensure that Adult Social Care has robust monitoring and management arrangements in place to ensure services are delivered effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a commitment to continuous quality improvement, excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills, a 'can do' approach to the role, and be committed to delivering an efficient, effective, and flexible service which is person-centred and inclusive. With a high level of knowledge of the care sector, the post-holder will have the expertise to provide direct support and guidance to their team and support their peers working in partnership at all times.
