Provision of one to one business advisory services to pre-start, start-up, existing and growing businesses. Represent Business Gateway Moray as a professional, accessible and flexible service making a significant contribution to the local economy. Requirements

To provide local face to face and online business advisory and support services to businesses based in Moray. To implement all Business Gateway National protocols and service specifications. To liaise with other relevant departments and organisations. The Individual

Extensive experience in the delivery of business advice. Experience of enterprise or development agency work. Educated to Degree level in an appropriate discipline. Already accredited, or prepared to achieve a recognised business advice & counselling accreditation within 12 months of appointment. Ability to work alone with minimum supervision. Ability to make confident and informative presentations. Proficient IT skills for office support and expertise with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to maintain an orderly office and records. Knowledge and/or understanding/ experience of working with various business and community enterprises. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with people from all walks of life. Ability to hold effective and professional face to face meetings with clients. Ability to engage usefully in networks. Respect confidentiality of information entrusted at all times. Open plan office / mobile working including occasional evening and weekend work. You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray and on occasion throughout Scotland to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a car/van. Closing Date: 7 February 2025 £22.92 per hour. 29 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover. Interview Dates: 17-21 February 2025.
