Job title: Cloud Platform Product Owner Location: Leeds or London Overview of the role: We have an exciting new opportunity in our SRE team for someone who is passionate about cloud technologies, organized, and enjoys driving product development. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our cloud initiatives, ensuring that our products meet customer needs and align with our strategic objectives. You’ll be reporting to the Head of Architecture and Business Analysis in a collaborative team who are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions. This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognizing that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned. What you’ll do: Defining the product vision and strategy for our cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs Managing the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on stakeholder feedback and market trends Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and delivery, to ensure successful product development and delivery Facilitating agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to foster a culture of continuous improvement Analyzing user feedback and performance metrics to inform product decisions and drive enhancements Advising on architecture decisions and ensuring that the platform is scalable, secure, and robust Leading efforts to introduce and manage effort estimation and target delivery timelines for product releases Hosting and documenting product review meetings to align on progress and gather input from stakeholders Consulting with portfolio, product, and project teams to ensure effective prioritization and resource allocation for cloud initiatives What you’ll bring: A deep understanding of cloud technologies and product management principles, preferably with a background in AWS technologies Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira for backlog management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed product decisions A collaborative mindset, with the ability to bridge gaps between different teams and workstreams A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take on challenges A passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences It’s ok if you don’t think you tick every box on this list.
