We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Private Client team based in our Lydney office. Your responsibility will be to support a Partner within our Succession and Tax team. Their work includes tax and succession planning, the creation of trusts, wills, partnerships, and powers of attorney. You will be supporting in all secretarial matters to ensure they can progress the needs of clients in a timely and effective way. You will need to demonstrate that you are organised, can work well under pressure, communicate effectively both on the phone and via email, and above all be a team player who can contribute to the successes of the Partner and wider team. Your days will be busy and varied, but your support will be vital to the success and growth of the work the team does. You can expect to be involved in supporting in the following areas:

Answering email and telephone queries, redirecting as appropriate to the necessary partner for review Opening and closing files, filing, photocopying appropriate documents, and archiving files in line with our processes Producing letters, responding to emails, and drafting documents from dictation Producing draft bills under the supervision of the partner in a timely manner Diary management, ensuring appointments are accurately scheduled and catered for, which could include setting up telephone conferences or ensuring meeting rooms are booked for client visits. Preparing documents needed for meetings to support the partner Ensuring electronic and/or paper files are updated to maintain an accurate and accessible document
