The Director of Operations & Performance will support the Chief Operating Officer in the delivery of delegated responsibilities to ensure that the operational management of clinical services is delivered safely, is based on evidence, meets the requirements of commissioners, and, as a minimum, exceeds the expectations of patients.
The post holder will additionally provide leadership and have full managerial responsibility for an allocated clinical Division. He/she will be responsible for the delivery of operational and performance targets, the achievement of local and national standards, human resources, quality and governance targets, and budgetary control. The post-holder will work closely with the Divisional Medical Director, the Divisional Director of Nursing, and the Chief Operating Officer to ensure optimum performance, service integration, and contribute to the development of Trust services within the organisation and the local health economy.
