Permanent Role Overview: As a Sustainability Manager with a focus on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), you will lead the effort to assess and improve the environmental impact of products across multiple manufacturing sites and product lines. You will collaborate closely with various teams to integrate sustainable practices into product design and operations, develop LCA models, and manage an extensive environmental data library for customer use. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the development of LCA models to evaluate the environmental impacts of products across different sites and product categories. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LCA insights into product design and operational processes. Build and maintain an accurate, up-to-date environmental data library. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate LCA findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Keep up with industry trends, new methodologies, and standards in LCA and sustainability practices. Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives. Required Skills & Experience: Experience conducting LCAs and developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Knowledge of ISO 14025, EN 15804, and other relevant environmental standards. Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in LCA software tools. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Desirable Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. Experience with implementing sustainability strategies across an organisation. Familiarity with carbon footprinting methods (e.g., GHG Protocol). Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others. Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
